Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Gerald P. Whitmore? +
Gerald P. Whitmore is the founder and Director of Community Standards of the Moral Outreach Society. He established this organization in 1989 out of a genuine and abiding concern for the welfare of American families and the integrity of children's media. He has been watching Crackodile & Friends longer than most of its current audience has been alive. He does not consider this ironic. He considers it necessary.
Why did MOS suspend operations in 1993? +
This matter is not available for public discussion at this time. Inquiries may be submitted in writing to the Director's office. Responses will be provided at the discretion of Mr. Whitmore.
Is the Moral Outreach Society affiliated with MOS Productions? +
Absolutely not. The Moral Outreach Society predates MOS Productions by several years and finds the appropriation of our initials to be, at minimum, a provocation and, at maximum, something considerably more troubling that we are not yet prepared to discuss publicly. We are investigating.
Is the Moral Outreach Society a real nonprofit organization? +
The Moral Outreach Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving decency in American media. We have been operating in this capacity since 1989. We do not feel that this question warrants further elaboration.
I work for Crackodile & Friends. Can I contact you? +
You may use the form above. Please select "I represent MOS Productions" from the subject dropdown. We will note it. Mr. Whitmore has been anticipating this conversation for some time.

"We read every letter. Every letter is kept. You have our word on that, for whatever it is worth."
